about the course
Learn fundamental anatomical differences in female and male joint design that affect alignment so that you can teach and practice with fewer injuries and allow chronic injuries to heal
Understand how and why traditional asana instruction is based upon the male physical form so that you can speak with authority - supported by your own anatomical knowledge and sensory intuition - about the need to recognize female alignment differences in asana instruction
Create instructions for each asana that honor the female form so that you can choose to teach the woman not the pose
Become a founding member of an international community of yoga teachers and practitioners committed to bringing the female form more fully to light

about me
Hello, I'm Adrienne.
I’m an anatomy instructor for Yoga Teacher Trainings and I've been researching and teaching about the female form for more than 19 years.
I’ve had the honor of being the Program Director and principle instructor for a 100-hour Anatomy & Physiology Course for YTT certification at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. (2000-2005)
I also loved my time teaching anatomy and practical application at the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy School. (1998-2006)
My passion for and expertise in anatomy grew when I earned a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. I've had the opportunity to learn anatomy directly from the human body during dissection class.
I’m a yoga and meditation instructor (ERYT 500) with a specialty in women’s health and healing. I've had a full time private practice in NYC for more than 20 years.
